China National Building Material & Light Industrial Machinery Group Corp. (CNBLM), formerly known as China National Light Industrial Machinery Corp., was founded in March 1980 on the basis of the Machinery Bureau under the Light Industry Ministry upon approval of the State Council. CNBLM is the only large state-owned enterprise providing light industrial machinery under the administration of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.
